Topic: Show 'Remix' field automatically added to 'Title' in the browser?
Hello, is there any way to automatically append the 'Remix' tag to the 'Title' tag to show up in the browser?

I am sure that it is technically correct and good tagging behaviour to have it seperated but I am used to having them just added to the title, like the filename. I don't really have the browser space to enable the remix field too if possible.

Maybe it's just something to manually take care of but I don't remember having this issue in the past so i'm hoping there's a way to deal with it in the program or something.

love

right click the field headers, select "title (remix)"

thank you

@LOCODOG Hi this thread is so relevant to my current question can i get an answer here?... I want the exact same result as the solution you just stated for title (remix) shown together but instead to appear like that on CDJ's as well. Is there a way I can do this is in bulk? I have lots of tracks with "titles" and "remix" separate by tag I want to join together so the CDJ displays to me title & (remix) together in browse mode and seeing the remix name in the title column...

Is there a way I can do this is in bulk?

Yes if it's the same remix or tag you want to add to the same files

Doesn't the HW have a title (remix) option?
I can write any tag onto any other tag programmatically and in bulk, as safe and stable as that is, it's still a bit of a bodge not using the tags as specified by ID3 the standard.

locodog who is your last msg too?

erm, both of you really.

lemme get back to you next wk. I'm using cdjs again then. I used them this wknd but still didn't see a title (remix) displayed together as I haven't changed anything yet. Will re try and look at usb exporting column options as I don't think there's a title remix column.

I've still not got round to figuring this out yet on CDJ's. Showing the title and remix on cdj columns in the same field.
